Pickers
Choose one value, from a short list or from thousands of records.
Uktupus has two pickers. A simple select is for short, fixed lists. The searchable picker is for records from the database.
When to use
- Select for under 10 fixed options: status, unit, payment method
- Searchable picker for customers, products, accounts and employees
- A second line on each option to tell similar records apart, like the city
When not to use
- Radio buttons for more than three options
- A plain select for anything that comes from the database
