In practice
- Work comes first. The home screen, Today, lists what needs action: approvals, overdue items, exceptions. Modules open from a single switcher in the top bar, not from a wall of tiles.
- Dense, not cramped. 14px text, 13px tables and 36px rows show more on screen without feeling tight.
- One accent. Uktupus Orange marks the main action and the current place. Status colours are only for status. Everything else is neutral.
- Flat and honest. No gradients, glossy buttons or decorative shadows. Only things that float, like menus and dialogs, cast a shadow.
